Basic Bulletproof Coffee

Since I have started this blog I have yet to talk about coffee. To get our motors going I am going to start with a basic Keto, bulletproof coffee. If you’ve never had this coffee before, I recommend starting off with just one tbsp of MTC and maybe half a tbsp of butter as it may upset your stomach. You can gradually increase to the full amount on the recipe over a couple of days. This coffee tastes amazing and will make you feel alert and ready for anything. You can accomplish anything after just a few sips. So go ahead, make it and enjoy getting everything done today!

Ingredients:

  1. Brew 1 cup (8 oz.) of coffee using filtered water, just off the boil, with 2½ heaping tablespoons freshly ground coffee beans.
  2. Add 1-2 tablespoons MCT oil to the hot coffee (It’s STRONG – start with 1 tsp. and work up over several days).
  3. Add 1-2 tablespoons Grass Fed Butter or Gee (for those lactose intolerant)
  4. Optional – 2-4 drops of stevia to taste (note the Gee I recommend is vanilla flavored)

Directions:

Brew coffee, I recommend a french press or an AeroPress. They will give you the best-tasting coffee.
Combine coffee with all the other ingredients in a blender, or use a stick blender in a large coffee mug and blend.
Enjoy warm or add some ice cubes for a delicious iced coffee!
